The Fall Festival

The Fall Festival is an annual celebration in historic King George County held the second weekend of October. In addition to the race, festivities include a parade, fair, Bar-B-Que, and dances. We invite all 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run participants to spend the day enjoying the Fall Festival activities.

$12.00 if entry postmarked before Oct. 1, 2001

$8.00 if entry postmarked before Oct. 1, 2001

Race Day Registration

6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. at the Potomac Elementary School

Early Registration:   Friday, October 12th at Potomac Elementary School 5-8pm

Shirts

T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and on race day while supplies last.

Refreshments

Post race refreshments will be provided through the generosity of our sponsors. Water will be available along the course.

Awards

Grand prizes awarded to the top three men and women overall winners. Prizes awarded to the top men and women in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & over.

Results

Finish line and results processing are managed by Fredericksburg Area Running Club.

Course

A scenic course that starts near the gates of Dahlgren Naval Base and meanders through the base.  Flat and fast course certified by USATF.  For the safety of all participants, no pets, baby joggers, skates, headsets, or bicycles.
